When children are just trying to survive and meet their basic needs, it gets challenging to focus on their education. Hardships and trauma can make it difficult for youth to feel like they belong in school. They may even wonder if they belong anywhere at all.  

But when people like you prioritize the emotional health of students at KyUMH, young people begin to see that they have a place in the world. They discover that they are worthy and capable of achieving their goals. You walk with them and let them know: “You got this.”
